Biography
The Nelson School of Music was established under Michael Balling in 1894 from its forerunner the Harmonic Society. The School expanded in 1900, with their new building in Nile Street opening in 1901. By 2018, the School had a new name, NCMA – Nelson Centre of Musical Arts.
