Studio props include a hanging curtain, painted panel depicting a bookcase, and carpet. The background is neutral with wall panelling. The unpainted edge of the bookcase and bracket used to stabilise it are visible. The triangular base of a posing apparatus is visible at the man's feet. The marking '18g' is in mirror writing.
