Full length studio portrait of a man and seated woman, Mr & Mrs Gillson. The man stands with one arm by his side and his other arm extending behind the woman. The woman sits holding her hands in her lap. Studio props include a book on a desk, and carpet. The backdrop is a painted mural of a decorative wall with a large open window. An outdoor scene including a balcony, baluster, trees, body of water, hills and sky are depicted through the window. Exposed studio wall is visible beyond the backdrop. The markings '90' and cursive script are in mirror writing.
