Description
Full length studio portrait of a 'Best' woman. She stands with both hands on the back of a chair. Distinguishing features include her bustle. Studio props include a hanging curtain, rustic chair made from tree branches, and carpet. The backdrop is a painted mural of a decorative wall with an archway. An outdoor scene including a swan on a lake, large building with a turret, trees and sky are depicted through the archway. A side wall and exposed wooden floorboards are visible.
