Description
Francis Lionel Weeks. Diary from arrival at Armetieres, on the Western Front, on 11 May [1916] describing every day life in trenches. The last entry is dated 19 November [1916].
Frank Weeks was a gunner in the 3rd New Zealand Light Trench Mortar Battery. He was killed in action in France, aged 19 years.

Includes a letter written in Weeks' diary by A.J. Waysh to Frank's mother about Frank's part in the battles, and expressing sympathy and regret at Frank's death.
