Trunk
Description
Rectangular metal trunk, painted ochre and brown, with hinged lid. The front and rear edges of the top of the lid, and base of the trunk, are curved. The lid has six prominent rivet heads, and there the two vertical raised ridges that encircle the trunk. On the right and left sides of the turnk are two metal handles with back mounting plates, painted brown. In the middle front of the lid is a hinged clasp, and on the front of the trunk is a latch and lock, aligning with the lid clasp. The base of the trunk is reinforced with four metal straps, and painted black. The interior of the trunk is painted a red-brown.
