Trunk
Description
Rectangular tin trunk with hinged lid. The lid has two butt hinges. The exterior of the trunk is painted off-white. The front and rear edges of the top of the lid, and base of the trunk, are curved. The lid is dented and slightly concave, and there are six prominent rivet heads. In the middle front of the lid is a hinged clasp. On the right and left sides of the trunk are two metal handles with back mounting plates. On the front of the trunk is a lock and latch, aligning with the lid clasp. Distinguishing features include the two vertical ridges that encircle the trunk, and four ridged feet protruding at the sides of the bottom of the trunk. The interior of the trunk is painted a deep red.
