Handcoloured lithograph on cream paper with card backing. The print is a botanical illustration of part of a fern. Several branching green fronds are depicted. The leaflets are flat and linear. One frond is depicted coiled and another partially uncoiled.

The print is titled "Pteris tremula" and on a piece of paper affixed to paper "TURAWERA" and "A pale green Fern, abundant throughout New Zealand"
