Description
Handcoloured lithograph on cream paper with card backing. The print is a botanical illustration of a fern. Two green frond stems are depicted. The axis of the frond divides repeatedly, giving the fern a tangled appearance. The fronds are coarse and feather-shaped. In the background is a grassy mound with plants.

The print is titled "Gleichenia cirinata." and on a piece of paper affixed to paper "WAEWAE-KAKA" and "Natural size. It grows on the Mineral Belt of the Dun Mountain, Nelson"
