Description
Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of part of a shrub with fruit, thought to be from the Rubus genus. Several tangled branching stems are depicted, with leaves opposite and alternate on petioles. The green leaf blades are long and lance-shaped with serrated margins and a prominent brown-red midrib, with some leaves depicted yellow and brown-red. Interspersed amongst the leaves are solitary berries on long brown stalks. The berries are red-orange and similar in shape to a blackberry. There are leaves depicted in a wash of dark green.

The painting is marked "NiNA JONES" and “Feb”
