Description
Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of part of a plant with flowers. The green leaf blades are long with pointed tips. The flower stalks are brown-red with alternate flowers at the terminal ends of the stalks. The flowers have bilateral purple petals and two long antennae-like protrusions pointing up on both sides, with large green inferior ovaries. There are leaves and flowers depicted in a brown wash.

The painting is marked "NINA JONES" and "OrthocErAs soLANdri"
