Description
Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of part of a shrub with flowers. Two branching brown stems are depicted with simple alternate leaves, some in groups. The green leaf blades are small and needle-shaped. Interspersed along the stems are flowers with five round white petals with pink-red centres. There is a brown seed capsule at the base of a stem. Commonly known as Manuka or Tea Tree.
