Description
Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of part of a shrub with flowers thought to be Marlborough native broom. One branching green stem is depicted. The stems are narrow flattened-to-circular and have small clusters of tiny flowers. The flowers are purple and white and bilateral. There are stalks depicted in a wash of purples and greens.

The painting is marked "NINA JONES" and “Oct”
