Description
Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of plants with flowers. The leaves radiate up and out from a central base. The leaf blades are long and wedge-shaped, green on top and orange-brown underneath. Clusters of flowers are on long, red-brown, slender-leafed stems. The small flowers have five free white petals with yellow centres and spiky yellow stamen. Some flowers are depicted as brown buds. There are grasses, leaves and flowers depicted in a wash of colours.
The painting is marked “NiNA JONES” and “MYOSOtis MoNroi”
