Description
Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of part of a tree with fruit. Two brown stems are depicted with leaves opposite on long petioles. The green leaf blades are large and heart-shaped with pinnate venation. Below the leaves are branching clusters of fruit. The fruit are round red berries on individual stalks. Unripe fruit are depicted yellow-orange. There are leaves and stalks depicted in a green wash.
The painting is marked "Nina. JonES", "Puriri" and “FEb”
