Written by John Arnold 1848 - 1904 of Woodburn farm, Upper Motupiko, later known as Korere, my grandfather. I was very pleased to see this copy of grandfather's handwriting. I have lots of accounts and receipts of his from 1878 to 1904 and this just adds another dimension. D. Price was his brother-in-law and also the first accountant for H. Baigent sawmills. H. Baigent's sister, Eliza, was John Arnold's mother-in-law and my great grandmother.
