Blue sparkly lurex thread dress, hand-crocheted. worn by Meryl Brew in the 1968 Nelson section of the Plunket 'Mrs NZ' competition. Made by Mrs Jeanette Murrah from Nelson. Lined, Empire line style with underbust drawstring fastening. Long sleeves with deep band cuff and fastened with buttons and button loops. Bra attaches to inside of lining.
