 Description
Nelson Breweries Ltd, New Zealand, was formed in 1945 from the merger of J.R. Dodson & Son and Harley and Sons. Operated in Nelson by the Harley family from 1853 and by J.R. Dodson from 1854. It was taken over by Dominion Breweries in 1969. This label is part of a larger collection with detailed records on hotels from 1905-1969, cost and invoice books 1865-1972, sales and production figures 1871-1944, recipes and other labels reference number AG 83.
