CORRECTION FOR ALICE'S YEAR OF DEATH: Alice RAINE nee EVERETT died at Wanganui in October 1952. She was buried on 24 October 1952 at Aramoho Cemetery, Wanganui City. Plot ref: Block D; Row 13; Plot 745. Alice's husband - Cyril Norman RAINE - died 13 September 1927 is buried in the same plot. Alice's brother Frank Evelyn EVERETT (1862-1927) is also buried at Aramoho Cemetery, Wanganui. Burial date : 10 September 1927. Plot ref: Block C; Row 12; Plot 694. Frank's 2nd wife Emmeline EVERETT nee DINGLE is buried in the same plot as Frank. Emmeline died November 1945.

MOST PROBABLY: ALICE MAUDE EVERETT (1866-1904). 2nd daughter of Edward Henry Everett Snr (1820-1904) and Hannah Maria Everett nee Pope (1826-1900). Alice married 02 May 1892 to Cyril Norman Palmer RAINE. Alice and Cyril would have 2 children. For a photo of Alice's father - Edward Everett Snr - refer to Nelson Museum photo ref: 17534.
