(Probably) Private Robert Henry Lewis #11610 who served with the 1st Battalion, The King's (Liverpool) Regiment, and was killed in action on 20th September 1914. He is remembered on the La Ferte-Sous-Jouarre Memorial, Seine-et-Marne, France. Born in Nelson in 1894. Son of Charles Alfred and Elizabeth Ann Lewis, of Chamberlain St., Westport, New Zealand (address post-WW1).
