Description
A two Grain weight from a collection of Apothecaries weights found at Harleys Pharmacy in Tahunanui. The weight is cut from thin metal plate. It has the upper proper left corner bent upwards to enable it to be more easily picked up.
Grains are a unit of weight used in the Apothecaries' system of measurement that was used by chemists for mixing medicines until the introduction of the Metric System.
