Description
Multi-tiered round, brown, common wasp nest (Vespula Vulgaris) with hexagonal shaped cells. Features a number of adult wasps. Abandoned nest retrieved from fallen tree on property in Pigeon Valley Road near Wakefield. Property was evacuated during bush fires of February 2019, the smoke and heat may have caused the nest to be abandoned by wasps as well.
