This looks very much like my maternal 3rd great-grandmother, Elizabeth Catherine Pope (nee Climo). This would have been taken around 1907-1908. Her husband, George Whiting Pope died in Nelson in August 1907 and Elizabeth Catherine only survived him by one year. She passed away in Havelock on 1 June 1908 aged 66 years and is buried in Havelock Cemetery. Elizabeth Catherine Climo was the first baby born in the brand new settlement of New Plymouth, on 5 November 1841. Her newly wed parents had arrived on 31 March 1841 on the 'WIlliam Bryan', both natives of Cornwall, England.
