Born 1880. Went to Wellington early 1900s. Married and stayed in Wellington. Returned for holidays.
Worked for Anchor Line and went to Wellington to work for Anchor agents there.
Believed they lived in South Street
[Donor] Maurice Kitching's grandfather owned grocers shop in Hardy Street - ARTHUR RICHARD KITCHING
His wife was KATHARINE (nee Percival) who was born in Katherine Docks while parents waiting to immigrate to NZ
Transcription of handwritten notes by Maurice Watson at time of donation. Kitching Collection plates were donated by Maurice Kitching, the son of Arthur Hardy Kitching.
