Pūpū Harakeke

Pūpū harakeke. This brown, pointed shell with five rings around it, is recently from a flax snail. The empty shell is blown like a kōauau to create a special song. This is like the fairy music created by the Kauri snail turning the lip of their shell into the breeze and creating and eerie whistle.
