Description
Ororuarangi. This flute can also be blown trumpet-like as a putorino and the only ones seen have been from toroa bone. This toroa was washed up in the estuary and has been given a delicate moko kawae. It is accompanied by a small whale carved from a whale tooth from Rekohu these two being symbolic of the great travellers of the oceans. This measures
