Handcoloured lithograph on cream paper with card backing. The print is a botanical illustration of parts of a fern. Several green frond stems are depicted with odd pinnate formation, with brown petioles. The green and brown leaflets are lance-shaped with finely toothed edges and pinnate venation.

The print is titled "Lomaria procera." and on a piece of paper affixed to paper "(syn. Blechnum procerum) KIOKIO" and "One of the most variable of ferns."
