Handcoloured lithograph on cream paper with card backing. The print is a botanical illustration of parts of a plant. Two leaf branches and a seed branch are depicted. The green and gold leaf blades are tiny, dense and linear and have a feathery appearance. The seeds are long brown cone shapes on many branching stems.

The print is titled "Lycopodium Billardieri, varium" and on a piece of paper affixed to paper "IWITUNA" and "This specimen is from the Dun Mountain Line, Nelson. It is frequently of a lovely golden colour."
