Two branching brown stalks are depicted with leaves opposite on petioles. The green leaf blades are ovular with toothed margins. Interspersed along the stems are solitary flowers. The orange-red flowers are trumpet-shaped with white centres, the inferior ovary covered with pointed green sepals. Leaves and stalks are depicted in a wash of colours.
