Object Detail

Description
Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of part of a plant with fruit. Several long, hanging, thin twisted brown branching stems are depicted, with leaves on upward curving petioles. The tiny green-yellow leaf blades are heart-shaped. Interspersed amongst the leaves are stalks with red pear-shaped berries. Parts of the plant are depicted in a wash of colours.
