Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of part of a tree with flowers. Three branching brown-black stems are depicted with alternate leaves. The leaf blades are oval shaped, dark green on top with prominent grey midribs and grey underneath. Solitary flowers on long thin pedicels branch out from the terminal ends of the stems. The red trumpet-shaped flowers are encased by small white pointed sepals and have small round red petals with yellow stamens. There are leaves and stalks depicted in a wash of colours.
