Oil painting on an oval, flat piece of bone with velvet backing, wooden frame and glass. The painting is an oval composition and depicts a head and shoulders portrait of Lady Grace Anna Newenham, wife of Sir Edward Newenham, daughter of Sir Charles Burton. Her hair is brown and curly and her eyes are blue. Her garment has a high white collar and sleeves of white and brown, with blue accents. A brooch encircled by a blue rosette is depicted at her bust.
