Description
Silhouette, cut-out black paper with watercolour detail, adhered to rectangular cream paper. The image depicts a three quarters length profile portrait of a woman. Her hair is pulled back in to a bun, with side ringlets. She wears a bodice, low and wide over the shoulders, with bows down the centre front. The sleeves of the bodice have decorative frills. The bodice ends in a deep v-shape below the waist. All highlights are depicted in gold.

The painting is not titled, signed or dated.
