Description
Watercolour painting on rectangular sheet of brown paper, with a brown window mount, and backing. The painting is a botanical illustration of part of a shrub with flowers. Two branching brown stems are depicted with leaves opposite on petioles. The green leaf blades are heart-shaped with toothed margins. There are small brown-red prickles along the stems and petioles. Interspersed along the stems are dense clusters of flowers with five free pink petals and bluish centres. There are leaves and stalks depicted in a wash of colours.

The painting is marked "NiNA. JONES", "Rubus" and "oct"
