Description
Silhouette, cut-out black paper with watercolour detail, adhered to rectangular sheet of cream paper. The image depicts a full length profile portrait of a standing man. He stands with his arm by his side with his gloved hand holding a top hat and a cane. His hair is swept back. He wears a high collar and a double breasted coat with golden buttons and tails, and pants. The suggestion of a shadow is painted at his feet.

There is a stamp at the bottom of the image that says 'Taken at The Hubard Gallery'.

From the estate of Miss Julie Tomlinson (c1876-1962).
