I think the artist here is Fanny Eva Richardson (1872-1954), youngest daughter of the parliamentarian George Frederick Richardson. She was born in Southland, but moved to Wellington in the mid-1880s and remained in that city until her death, for many years sharing a house in Hawkestone St with her sister Ethel, who was also an artist.
