Description
Handcoloured lithograph on cream paper with card backing. The print is a botanical illustration of a fern. Several fronds are depicted at the top of the composition, descending from a branch. The green-brown fronds have a smooth, leathery appearance, with small pointed alternate leaflets on a thick green axis.

The print is titled "Asplenium flaccidum" and on a piece of paper affixed to paper "NGA MAKAWE A RAUKATAURI" and "Grows on the branches of trees throughout New Zealand. One of the most variable ferns known".
