Outline of two voyages to New Zealand by the ship 'HMS Alligator'. The first in March 1834 describes the social life and customs of Māori people and the christian missions of the Bay of Islands in detail. The second in August 1834 describes the rescue of captive survivors from the shipwreck 'Harriet' from Taranaki Māori.
