Trooper Allan Campbell Pattie
Head and shoulders studio portrait of Trooper Allan Campbell Pattie (serial no. 7/256) in military uniform. On the Auckland War Memorial Museum Cenotaph database his next of kin is listed as Mrs Mary Pattie (mother), Blenheim, New Zealand. Pattie enlisted for service during World War One from Havelock, Marlborough, New Zealand. He joined the Canterbury Mounted Rifles and embarked on 24 September 1914 from Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand for Wellington, New Zealand. From Wellington he joined the Main Body and embarked on 16 October 1914 for Egypt. Pattie was discharged on 17 March 1919 as longer physiaclly fit for war service due to wounds received in active service.
