Description
Three piece ensemble, includes a dress, jacket and belt, worn by Dame Norma Holyoake. The dress skirt, jacket and belt are all made from the same dark brown wool crepe. Dark brown skirt with cream, short-sleeved bodice. Fully lined. Bodice has a neck band at centre front with two ties, princess lined seams, two metal hooks at centre back and hand stitched loops, centre back lapped zip. The skirt is a semi-wrap shape to proper left, seven black plastic buttons to hold wrap in place. Hand stitched belt loop to proper right side. Made by El Jay.

Jacket is fully lined with a greenish toned taffeta. Long sleeved, buttoned tabs on lower sleeve edge. False welt pockets, two on lower part of the jacket and one breast pocket at the proper left side. Princess lined seams on front and back. No front fastenings. Revere collar with rounded corners and saddle stitched edges.

The belt is dark brown with leather like lining, silver coloured metal buckle, two metal studs, one metal eyelet and holes for two more without eyelets, point shaped end.
