Description
White linen cover for a doll's cot featuring the crest and badge flowers of the Macnab Clan (Scotland) reflecting the family origins of the donor. Hand made lace edging around central square with embroidered crest of a hand holding a sword with Latin motif "TIMOR OMIS ABESTO" and leaves on long stems of Stone Bramble (Rubus saxatilis). Drawn thread work and hem stitched borders.
