Letter of sympathy addressed to Miss Curtis regarding the death of her father
14 Aug 1937
Transcription: It cam as a great shock to me to learn only today that Mr Curtis had died in Auckland on the 18th last. Had I known I certainly would have gone up to attend his funeral. We were the best of friends and I was expecting him down here again shortly. Norah is very grieved at the news. I can only express to you and Mrs Curtis my sincere sympathy in this sad communication. With kind regards, yours very sincerely, [G.Gordon?]
