Object Detail

Description

Green glass bottle neck and chipped rim. Indentations on the inside of the rim and there are air bubbles in the neck of the bottle. Neck is also chipped. Predominance of black glass bottles in assemblage suggest a date ca. 1860s - 1880s.
From an excavation undertaken in Nile Street.
