Maker biography

Ben McMillan, Nelson born fashion designer, who trained at NMIT and gained a Diploma in fashion and textiles. Ben began his business at his parents’ home in Monaco, Nelson. His labels were CSE, Catastrophe and Catastrophe Man. His second premises was in Hardy Street, Nelson which he opened in 2004. His third premises were upstairs in a room above Alchemy Arts and Café in Bateup Road, Richmond. The business folded and he moved to Christchurch to manage Long Island clothing in 2028. Ben is currently the General Manager of Paula Apparel LTD, in Auckland.
