Description
Clear PVC (poly-vinyl chloride) face shield made by TM Covers in Nelson, used as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). "TM" logo stitched onto front of shield on upper right side. Blue elastic headband that sits at the back of the head with "TM COVERS" embroidered on it. Black textile strap sits on forehead which is stitched at the ends only to the shield creating a 1-2cm ventilation gap in between shield and forehead. Shield can be cut by users to desired shape. Hastily designed and manufactured by TM Covers during the COVID-19 Stage 4 Shutdown in April 2020 in response to national (and international) demand for PPE for essential workers. Staff worked from home to manufacture the shields in the thousands.
