Maroon jacket/blazer. Embroidered on breast pocket: 'Doug Heinz Dance Band Nelson N.Z.' 'Piano'. A gold coloured metal pin of a piano is attached to the lapel. Label attached at back of neck reads: 'The Leading Tailors. Basil Dalefield Ltd. 128 Bridge St. Nelson.' Found in breast pocket- one black plastic comb, one black hair pin, one wrapped mint 'Digestif Rennie'. A 1922 one penny coin found in proper left waist pocket.
The Jacket belonged to Joan Godbaz who played with the band for 16 years from around 1948 to 1964.
