Letter regarding meeting of Australian and New Zealand shippers and a sailing ship bill of lading form
One letter, dated London, September 23rd, 1872 addressed "Gentleman" and from "Shaw, Savill and Co" discussing the outcome of of a meeting and listing a number of companies at the bottom of the letter. One letter dated "London, September 26th, 1872" addressed to "Dear Sirs" and from the list of companies at the bottom of letter, the letter requests attendance of a meeting. Unused form in red print with picture of sailing ship, the form is entitled "Sailing Ship Bill of Lading Form B. - Freight Payable at Port of Discharge." Unused form in black print with picture of sailing ship, the form is entitled "Sailing Ship Bill of Lading Form A. - Freight Payable at Port of Shipment."
