The diary is a part of the Atmore Collection concerning Harry and Dorothy A. Atmore, AG 377. Harry Atmore (1870-1946) was a Nelson City Councillor and M.P. for Nelson. He married Dorothy Corrigan (1895 - 1976) in 1936. During the WWI she was a member of the Women's National Reserve and was awarded the MBE.
